The Venue
Historic downtown property boasting a modern, industrial interior. Carefully restored original brick from the late 1800s, exposed metal beams, and a glass atrium are just a few of the elegant, character-rich details that make the Atrium on Tenth Columbia’s most unique and memorable event venue.
The Atrium on Tenth is designed to accommodate corporate, social, weddings, trade shows, or any event you can imagine.
A Rich History
Our building was originally built 120 years ago as the Powers House hotel. In the 1890s, the hotel became one of the most popular and successful hotels in Columbia.
While campaigning for president, William J. Bryant attended a political banquet at the hotel. Wealthy business men, fox hunters, and coaches from the University of Missouri also frequented the Powers House.
In addition to the hotel, the Atrium on Tenth’s space has been home to multiple businesses including an automotive dealership. During construction, our contractors found lots of interesting artifacts that will be on display when restored.
