Columbia’s premier catering and event service company, bleu Events has consistently provided our clients with full-service events – minus one thing. The venue. Well, now we have that, too! We are proud to offer our clients the option for a one-stop shop for their entire event – The Atrium.

Located in the heart of historic downtown Columbia, Missouri, The Atrium – originally built 120 years ago as the Powers Hotel – is filled with elegant details. The exposed ceilings, wood floors, curved staircase, and glass atrium (hence the name) make it one of Columbia’s most unique event spaces.

In addition to being the newest, The Atrium is also the second largest event space in Columbia, accommodating 450 seated and 600 cocktail guests. Its neutral color palette and contemporary design lets you fit your specific aesthetic into the space. So, whether you’re planning an upscale wedding reception or casual corporate event, we can customize the floor plan to meet your needs.

Being a full-service venue, means that your event will be planned and executed with less stress on you because you will have one point person for everything.

Hosting your event at The Atrium allows for seamless production and design opportunities. Our large open space has power, zoned lighting, and sound distributed throughout the room. Full audio and video sources are provided to allow for high-quality photography and video production to document the great memories that will come from the event.

Our larger space can be tented and lets you customize seating. You will have a “downtown” feel all while having privacy.

For your catering needs, bleu Events provides full-service, flexible catering for a variety of events. The Atrium’s loading dock makes it easy for bleu Events to wheel in your catering order into the event space. To top it all off, The Atrium gives you the option to have two full wet bars!
